Colorado Ozone Solutions creates Ozone (“active oxygen”) using ultraviolet lamps. As oxygen (O2) passes through our generators, a third oxygen atom is covalently bonded to the original oxygen molecule creating one of the most powerful disinfectants known to man, Ozone (O3). The newly created Ozone molecules will naturally seek out toxins. Once they encounter a toxin, the third oxygen atom will break off from the oxygen molecule and create an ionic bond with the toxin. This bonding process will result in breaking down the new host at the molecular level and thereby oxidizing it. The original oxygen molecule reverts back to O2, pure oxygen. There are no harmful chemical residues left behind, only a clean fresh smell that you have probably smelled during a thunderstorm.
