Colorado Ozone Solutions, LLC uses technologically advanced patent pending generators to produce high concentrations of Ozone.
Ozone produced at these concentrations (In excess of 400ppm and up to 800ppm) is strong enough to perform mold treatment as well as bacterial and viral disinfection. Our process will kill mold, bacteria, smoke odors, pet odors, pests, termites, bed bugs, MRSA, E.coli, and other indoor pollutants.
Since our UV generated Ozone is household safe, no removal of material items is necessary before or after application.
Simply remove all people, plants and pets during the treatment process...Return a few hours later to a purified environment.
In summary, here is how our treatment process works:
- A Certified Ozone Technician will meet you at the treatment area to prepare the home/area for treatment
-
Check to see that the HVAC filter has been pulled and set the thermostat to the appropriate setting. Be sure new filters are available to install when the treatment process is complete. We recommend a new filter immediately after the treatment and then again 3-4 days after that.
-
All openings to the exterior will be sealed off including fireplaces, exhaust fans, door thresholds, etc.
-
All interior doors, cabinets, drawers, closets, etc should be opened and mattresses set on edge
-
Post “DO NOT ENTER” signs at all entrances (we will supply these signs which also provide an emergency contact number for our technician)
-
Generator(s) are set up and positioned for the treatment process
-
Technician performs a walk through with the owner or person in charge to ensure that no people, plants, or pets are present.
-
Generator is set to automatically shut off after a predetermined treatment time (based on the cubic footage, treatment area, environmental conditions)
-
Generator is switched on and the premises is secured by the owner or representative
-
Within 2-3 hours after the generator shuts off occupants may return.
It typically takes 30-45 minutes to prep the area and set up the equipment. It typically takes 20 minutes to tear down and remove the equipment.
Did You Know?
Ozone is one of the strongest known oxidizing agents and is capable of breaking down virtually any organic soil into innocuous compounds such as carbon dioxide and water. There are no known bacteria or viruses that are resistant to ozone, as it acts as an oxidant of protoplasm. In low concentrations, Ozone has a sweet, pleasant odor like during a thunderstorm.
